Sandra Espino
Sandra Espino was born in Morelia, Michoacán. She is a proud daughter of farmworkers whose support and that of various mentors enabled her to graduate from UC Berkeley. While at Cal, she was introduced to organizing and has been active in actions centering marginalized communities since. Once Sandra returned to the Central Coast she found CAUSE doing equity work and began her involvement gathering signatures against the ICE facility in Santa Maria. Sandra works as an analyst for the California Department of Transportation, CalTrans, and lives in Santa Maria. In her free time, Sandra enjoys listening to podcasts, cooking, and visiting area wineries.
